Description
Winstrol is the brand name for stanozolol, an anabolic-androgenic steroid (AAS) derived from dihydrotestosterone (DHT). It is available in both oral and injectable forms. The injectable version, commonly called Winstrol Depot, contains stanozolol in a water-based suspension, unlike most injectable steroids that are oil-based.
Originally developed in the 1960s, Winstrol had approved medical uses such as treating hereditary angioedema, anemia, and muscle-wasting conditions. However, due to its side effect profile and risk of misuse, it is now rarely prescribed in modern medicine.
